Worked for a company that sold capital equipment in Turkey and other neighboring countries. After installation of a $200,000 piece of equipment they would sacrafice a goat cutting its throat and letting it bleed to death in front of the machine for good luck.

If they had beaten Germany in that World Cup Semi-Final, then they would of sacrificed the over 1000 RAM that they said they were going to sacrifice. Maybe it's better that they lost to Germany, cuz would have been a lil outrage from other countries over it(not that they would have cared enough to change their plans.) I guess they kill in the range of 5-15 million goats in one particular week there.
