7)A player known for having a low average, but high number of home runs, was a perfect fit for a stadium that is tough to get the ball out of.........NOT!!

After hearing some fool on TVG say:"There is no more respected a manager around the league than Joe Torre."
I've decided to post the play by play from the bottom of the 4th inning of a game he made decisions in (on 8-06-08.)

St. Louis - Bottom of 4th (SCORE 3-3)

Derek Lowe pitching for Los Angeles

J Pineiro reached on infield single to second.
C Izturis singled to left, J Pineiro to second.
S Schumaker flied out to left. 3 3
A Kennedy singled to center, J Pineiro to third, C Izturis to second.
Scuds begging Joe to take Lowe out.
A Pujols homered to left, J Pineiro, C Izturis and A Kennedy scored. (SCORE 7-3)
Old tea drinka man still not coming out of the dugout to get his pitcher. Scuds wishing him some ill.
R Ludwick homered to left. (SCORE 8-3)
Scuds now understands why there are gun control laws.
R Troncoso relieved D Lowe.
