Swimming and waterpolo are really the only things I'm looking forward to watching. Although you wouldn't know anyone else was swimming besides Phelps and Amanda Beard from the promo's. I thought the Amanda Beard "promo's" were very tastefully done for the record.

In re: to USA waterpolo- Tony Azevedo (of Long Beach Wilson and Stanford) is arguably one of the (or the) best waterpolo players in the world. First player from the US to sign a million dollar contract to play professionally.... doing so with a club in Italy. That's insane considering the end game for an elite waterpolo player in the US is getting a partial scholarship to Stanford, USC, CAL, UCLA, etc... Getting a full scholarship means that you are probably under consideration for the national team and have been playing internationally with the junior-national team while in highschool.

USA v Serbia is on NBC wed morning and i think is the first US game televised. If you assumed the Serbians play dirty, you were correct.

Dave Johnson has a gig? One time (on TVG) I wrote that Todd guy, and told him that Caton was HER HIGHNESS QUEEN OF GREATER CHALKLAND. He loved that, because when she was at TVG she was really chalk crazy.I wish I had a fiddy for every time she said you can't pick your prices etc.

*Clapping*

YEAH, the much anticipated swimming thread.

The NBC site is a mess, I'm still trying to figure out what's when and what's live and what's being streamed. I still can't find the prelims from last nite.
The olympic site is a little bit better.

Dtide you should start a track thread.

Same here.
Not really the field events, just the running.
High jump and long jump are ok.

give me the events that can be timed or measured (weight, height or distance), i don't like the team events or the ones that are rated by judges.
