If they lose to Curlin, which would probably happen, he is a 3 year old going up against older running against what will be the all time leading money earner If they win though, they just beat the all time leading money winner, beat older, and probably enhanced their breeding value. Massive mouths with little between the legs..... Me personally, I would take Curlin and lay 4 lengths on a dirt surface, and if they faced on turf I would probably take Curlin and lay 1.5 lengths. |

I would lay Curlin 1 and 1/2 lengths on the dirt... I feel Big Brown could very well beat Curlin on the grass though.

As far as dirt goes, although I think Curlin is the better animal, I wouldnt take a short price on him against Big brown, strictly from the tactical advantage Big Brown would have in the race. I'd love to see either scenario but we as fans know better that we wont get these kinds of matchups anymore. This isnt the 90's anymore. |

Curlin's best is 3-5 lengths better than Brown, IMO, at 10f on dirt...we'll probably never know.
I don't know what to think on turf. Curlin's effort was his first, and he could improve dramatically in his second on that surface. Beating Better Talk Now is more than Brown has done by crushing some maidens.
