Personally I feel that's a ridiculous statement. They have broken the 40,000 attendance mark since 2000. Granted nobody knows what the real number with the spinners are but it is Monmouth's signature event. If BB wasn't there, is he implying that there would have only been 10,000 people there on a beautiful Sunday afternoon? To compare it to the 41,000 that came out to the Breeders cup in a torrential moonsoon in October and it's exorbitant prices is crazy.

Agree, and I think most fans, casual or otherwise believe Curlin is the superior animal.
