Well...without looking at the past performances, I can surmise the 3 that will be bet hard in here are Archipenko, Mount Nelson and Einstein. I don't think the others have much of a chance at first glance, so as I said before I have never heard of the French horse but I hope he's a good one. He's got the right Jockey as he looks like the possible overlay in here.

Every Euro I've talked to over here, including a couple from the Racing Post, say the French runner isn't much. He'll need the race of his life to win this and rates below plenty of the American runners.

If you want an angle, there's not much speed at all, and he and Sudan should be able to go slowly up front.....still doubt he hangs around past the eighth pole.

He worries me now seeing the race on paper. I still think Archipenko guns him down.

I will admit that I am surprised on how 'fast' Stream Cat is on the sheets. Still can't see him winning the Million though.

I think its Mt. Nelson, Stream Cat, or Archipenko...not in that order.

But, by the end of writing the race last night, I called Sudan the sleeper, because he seems quick enough on his very very best day, and I just don't see him getting pressed very much early.

So DAK is letting you 'write' the Million?

I don't like Mount Nelson at all. But my whole day will be on Archipenko's shoulders. He wins and I should have a good day, if not, bustola, until we go to the bar afterwards......

Sudan not so sneakily ran well in his last race, however I don't think he is as good as Einstein who will probably be the most well backed American hope, though I like the handicapping thought process of a Tin Man scenario reoccuring again in the Million...It's a good angle.

Yea, the Million is done -- up on the website already too. Late night last night, but still not quite sure why I ended up with it, but I couldn't complain.

The only reason that I like Mount Nelson is from talking to some guys here yesterday. I try to never put too much stock in what a rider says about how easily he could have won, but Murtagh apparently 'had it the whole time,' and that nose win is misleading.....

Believe however much of that you want, but all the Euros I've talked to here in the last 24 hours seem to think he's the most likely to deny Archipenko, and it's hard for me to ignore them.

Still, the consensus is that Archipenko is the clear cut one to beat.

Nice Job....real surprised that Joe didn't take the big three and give the scraps to you guys. Pretty cool that you will sway about a million dollars in the pools based on what you say with all the amatuers out there, you should have touted Silverfoot

This card might be one of the hardest cardest I have ever seen at Arlington. The first 7 races are very very competitive, should make for some live prices

Does anyone know how M. De Kock has done with NA shippers, my memory tells me he ships very infrequently to NA, I do remember he did ship one into for the Canadian International last year and that one didn't have an impact...

The last time I can remember him looking good was in the Criterium International (... but that was in like 2006).

Don't think much of him either...

well for what it's worth -- that was written and discussed before Sudan scratched.....

i hate to redboard, but you can ask Tom or anyone out there at AP, that the second Sudan scratched, this horse became a must bet in my book as the lone speed, and certainly got bet.

If Sudan is in that race, this horse finishes fifth at best.

The irishman is still alive, took him to downtown AH on Friday night, and then drank free beers saturday at Arlington from 11am to final post...He would disappoint Ireland as at one time, he was backed up 5 beers......

Also keep in mind that all week he was telling me that Winchester had no chance, and then the SOB had money WPS on the f'n horse.

Took him to Gators last night with friends and a couple of lady friends that were 'savage' in his words and partied all night....He fell in love with broccoli bites, and then took him to breakfast joint, where lady friends work at, and got him a broccoli omelette, and started drinking again today at Sox game

Been a grand time

Scav's doing his best to KO him... but he's still killing it at the windows. Gave us all super info on the Euro's, I nearly made a huge score on the Bev D with his insistence to include the 50-1 shot in the super, tossed DOA (in retrospect, no reason to exclude from 4th) and she beat P Kitten by a nose or I have that super which paid $7,600.

Anyways, Chicago rocked, had an AWESOME time, special props to the always-generous superman GBBob who welcomed us into his home and was a most generous host! Good to see all the Chitown crew out...

Yeah he was mentioned earlier this week, glad you made the bet on him. I joked that I never heard of him earlier this week but the good thing is I got to see a replay of one of his races, obviously I am glad I bothered.

I'm glad you scored -- I definitely wanted nothing to do with the horse earlier this week.
