alexandre dumas if you're into swashbuckling. i like the count of monte cristo.

balzac, he's good. then there's hugo, his les mis is spectacular!

kev, if you like history, you gotta read cornwell. trust me. his 'archer' trilogy is outstanding, set during the hundred years war. and now he's come out with some based on saxon england, two books of the three out so far. it's during the times of alfred the great and the vikings...
rutherferd is good if you like british history. i've read london, the princes of ireland, the rebels of ireland...and have the new forest and sarum to read.

i sailed thru 1776 in no time, it was really good.

also have a book that came out several years ago..it's about jefferson, hamilton, and burr. i'll have to look for the authors name when i get home, can't remember it off-hand.

well, guess i better get to work. hope i haven't confused too many with my two 'danzig' names. but they're both me! see ya later.
