I watched the trailer for this film and it brought a tear to my eye - I absolutely loved this horse. He was the first "Superstar" horse that I had the opportunity to watch run in person and he definitely help my love of this sport grow. Even better, he was from Northern California, my stomping grounds. One of my prized possessions is the Bloodhorse magazine with LITF on the cover that I had Aleo, Gilchrist and Baze sign earlier this year at Bay Meadows.

I can't wait to see this movie. I know it end sad but so did The First Saturday in May... why does our sport have such sad endings? Just wondering...

Rest in Peace Lost in the Fog and Mr. Aleo...
