Lava Man has won 8 of his last 10 races and 6 of them he has carried 122 lbs or more. I know alot of you dont think weight means much, but in this race they will all carry 124. It won't be like the last race where you move up because of a lite weight asignment. The two horses that have been sucsessful with 124 or more at 1 1/4 miles are Lava Man and Perfect Drift. I excluded Giacomo because his was against 3yos. Perfect Drift has lost two heart breakers and seems to be at the top of his game. Can, will Magnum beat these two at equal weights?

I think that most people are going to bet the tri with Giacomo and Perfect Drift in the 2nd and 3rd slots with Lava Man on top. Even the trifecta pool will be diluted.

Yeah, that would be my wager. I don't see the rest of these beating the top three.
Maybe it would be smart to box the trifecta and just hope that Giacomo or Perfect Drift can pull the upset.
