Damn... I really enjoyed his calls... "They're racing" When I heard his voice I knew spring time was here and the Derby was soon to be..

So sorry to hear. Condolences to his friends and family. I was looking forward to visiting Ellis Park for the first time in just a couple of weeks. It won't quite be the same. Great voice, great delivery. RIP.

I loved Luke's calls, really thought he was the most underrated caller in the game... Rest in Peace big guy

Agree with many that he was the most underrated caller in the game. He will definitely be missed. R.I.P. Luke.

Don Erk of the Vanderburgh County Coroner's Office said the cause of death appeared natural, likely coronary related.

Kruytbosch, 45, had told friends during Sunday's races at Ellis Park that he wasn't feeling well.

His announcing brought you right into the race from the break. His style was very classy and dignified and his voice will be missed.

OMG WTF this guy was awesome....and probably would appreciate a toast in his honor. Came to Arlington a couple times and dear friend of Billy Downes Jr. Unbelievable. So sad for family and friends.... WAY TOO YOUNG!!!!!!!!

Wow very sad news, a big loss for racing. Condolences to his family and friends. Still shocking, was just enjoying his calls on TVG yesterday, very, very sad.
RIP Luke, your voice will be missed.
