![]() worst animal in the race overall, less awful on synthetic than dirt, well suited to the speed-bias but inferior to the #2 in speed , exiting race 2nd to the #2 in speed,
needed scenario: if outbreaks the #2 has a chance to wire the field hindsight: or of course, if col. john overcompensates for tracke bias, #2 doesn't break well and col.john/#2 battle wide entering stretch, giving Tres Borachos the rail ... then yah to be honest there wasn't really a good case to be made for playing that race at all. someone could have guessed the exact odd scenario and it still wasn't worth playing that race. |

![]() Same old T BAZE. He is world-class on mediocre horses that don't figure. I would donate $100 right now to a fund to pay his a-s-s to go ride elsewhere. He will bring your single in 2nd, and then the next race(you go three deep) and that lil bitch will get the 4th or 5th best horse to produce. Then he will smile like he's gettin' blown.

![]() the race today was highly dependant on the surface bias and threat of the #2 horse. However Colonel John owes most of his success to Synthetic surface and fair to closer bias. It's not like we can just excuse him for being the best in this race and losing to a trip and a surface today.
