Well, to be perfectly honest, I hate the Red Wings too. The only reason I even started liking hockey in the first place when I was younger was because I liked watching the Nordiques before they moved to Denver, and just kept up with them. I've only ever seen them play the Hawks in person, and Hawks fans are basically grade-A assholes, so I hate the Blackhawks. I just hate Detroit less.

you must have seen the flyers play also.
i started following hockey in the early 80's when the mighty islanders made their run of 4 in a row, almost 5. i've followed the devils too, especially after martin brodeur arrived.
i was at both caps-islander games when the islanders took the caps out of the playoffs in washington 2 years in a row. one of those was the 4 1/2 OT game. billy smith in goal crushed the caps both years.
since the strike and the new tv contract i rarely watch or follow.

The year was 1987, but Billy Smith was not in the nets in that game. I'm kind of surprised Scav hadn't already corrected this trivial mistake.
