I'd prefer them to be at Leopardstown all the time. I'm not much of a fan of the Curragh

A new grandstand might make the difference, I suppose. It just looks run down and it has for a number of years now.

I've not been to Leopardstown, but from what a few of my friends say and how it looks from the comfort of my own home, it looks very much like a track that should be staging classics.

Maybe they could stage them at Thurles in 2011, brock

Dont get me started on Thurles...

Leopardstown is the best track here by a mile...

Everytime im down at the Curragh (even though it only races from spring to autumn) it is always cold and windy, even when the sun is shining, it still seems to be cold, and there is no protection in that grandstand.. it was very much like that in Belmont as well for BC 2005!?

I agree. Of the 13 Irish racecourses I've been to, Leopardstown is the best.

I visited the Curragh last September with my brothers and we all thought that the racecourse was dull and lacked character. Of the others, I enjoyed Galway and Down Royal.

But as far as staging the classics, Leopardstown is the only real choice.
