damn was wrestling with WMP trying to get it into compact mode to avoid prying eyes here, next thing saw was TC with her kinda on a long rein then next thing see is scratched - from what could see she seemed okay but did have kinda funny look on her face, now makes sense what was going on - dang hope she's okay... will check back later for updates

sad news for those that made the tripp.. talked to steve..she flipped and had a few scrapes so the vet had to scr her..hes gonna go back to the barn after a few..but as of now she is ok..and would have at least placed vs those..

Unexpected pace also, she wasn't beating the 2 but she might have blown by the 1/6 for 2nd....

i brought bad luck i guess. within 5 minutes of my arrival at the paddock she managed to knock over the kid holding her during saddling, and then in short order reared and flipped over on her side. i felt bad for the folks that came in for this. i hope she's alright, she smacked pretty hard flush on her side. she got up but they made the right call and scratched her immediately.

no way was she going to beat the winner anyway, although I think she would have got a check.

An FYI, I might be over their tonight to help out and hold the horses because their is a major fireworks display and they tend to go nuts, if I go, I'll get an update.

that turned out to be a pretty dreadful race outside of the winner. she didn't look terrible after she flipped, but she was scraped up. better safe than sorry.

well i work sun-thurs at my day job, and since the 4th is on a friday, i get an alternate holiday which i took today.

but still, if i'm not there, i'm here spending half a day working anyway.

Two horse flip in the paddock, one ends up it the parking lot, and Geroux just won a race.....Everyone TAKE COVER
