First, prove that Oaklawn is speed favoring. Second, as his retirement shows, in this day and age if you have a horse ready to run, you run. You never know when something will go wrong, so obviously the horse was doing well and he ran well. And, while connections do plan out a campaign, the plan changes a lot. It just seems baseless to make a claim that the trip to Oaklawn was a bad idea, considering your whole arguement is based on assumptions that YOU are making.
