They had it blacked out in Vegas Sportsbooks. I don't know why. Friday night's game was on in there the whole game. The Dodgers have got huuuuuge offensive problems, and even being no-hit isn't enough to wake up the people running this deal. The owner seems more interested in trying to cure cancer, and the G.M. is about as inept as you'll ever see. Trade for someone that can hit, or you stay fkd( in any game that a guy has anywhere near his best stuff against you.) They have badly misjudged the hitting ability of their young players against big league pitching. They aren't a year away, or 2 years away. They can't do it(hit good pitching.) They can't, and they won't. Their pitching staff is doing all the work, and that is not a plan that works for long. It works for a weekend, a cluster of games etc., but they need to get a clue as to what they are gunna do for scoring in the 2nd half of the season. So far, they know the problem, and have done absolutely nothing to fix it. Torre says they don't get quality at bats. Well, ya know what..Mr. Nice guy....You better start getting in their face, because these are not disciplined individuals, and you're the 2nd nice guy who has been in charge of these styrofoam heads . It's been proven that they need some plate discipline. Pick a pitch, and stay on that pitch. You know it. You preach. Get them to do it, or you and the wife be vacationing early in October. Promise you that.
