I'm going to chime in, writing in and asking Mgt to replace(Nicer word than Fire) an Announcer is not good karma if you ask me. As far as I have heard Collmus does a good job and doesn't deserve to be fired, and this has nothing to do with Mr. Stauffer abilites as he is a very competent annoucer also...However Magna made a change a few years ago, I do not know why it happened and at the time I must admit I was surprised as I thought Vic was doing a good job. But given the circumstances it wouldn't make sense to me to flip flop again.

This entire thread is in bad form and should be deleted...

It's one thing to rate announcers.. but when the individual starting this discussion plans on mailing the thread to Gulfstream in hopes of having Collmus ousted.. it's over the line and no longer appropriate.

Stauffer's ok. He seems to get a bit lost in the back of the field. And the adlib stuff is alright once in a while a la the earthquake call. Then again, comparing the pae of a race to the Celtics fast break is another thing when you are trying to figure out who is where.

To me, Rodman's the best. If only I bet the circuit, it might matter.

I don't know. It is always a very hot topic when it gets brought up. And I know that Uncle Ace went to PA,TrackChampion and assuming a couple others and posted the same thing. Vic is apart of both of those sites also but I only go to those when I am drop dead bored and Morty isn't keeping my busy here.
