was hoping he was going to show up in NY but knew that was highly unlikely!

but on a side note...why does paulick's site look exactly like Seth Marrow's (Equidaily.com)????

Interesting how when Curlin won his last race in NY (Jockey Club Gold Cup) -- the owner's (the owner in question) license had already expired a month earlier. So, what was the owner's status vis a vis the case, legal proceedings, etc.?

I wonder how hypocritical NYRA would have been if Big Brown had the same ownership problems leading up to the Belmont?
