A pair of Drysdale two year olds come to mind when thinking of hyped of horses prior to their debuts.
AP Indy and FuPeg. I also remember Lukas, moments after buying a full sibling to Terlingua, proclaiming she was so perfect, it looked like she could go out there right now and run 1:09. This was as a yearling! I think she sold for about 1.9 million. She didn't do much.
