I noticed that DISH dropped the NFL Network from their basic packages. The Sunday ticket would be nice to have, but the way I see it, I'd rather be able to see HRTV year round than 17 Sundays of NFL games. If there's an NFL game I want to see, I can just go to a sports bar to watch it.

DISH is pretty cheap also. I only pay $39/month and get both racing channels as well as all the regional Fox sportsnets.

I would rather be waterboarded than go to a sports bar to watch anything. A gathering of loud, obnoxious, complete morons, dressed in their fav. team gear, screaming at a tv in case their team can actually hear them through the tv. No thanks.

If you think that's bad, try one of the large Las Vegas sportsbooks, where not only are they loud, obnoxious and dressed in the favorite team gear, but they also have money on the games. No thanks.

I've spent literally hundreds of days at Golden Gate Fields. I always liked it, but bring a jacket. As soon as that sun gets behind the grandstand and you're sitting in the shade, that wind off the bay can be very cold. A great view of the East Bay hills from the grandstand too.

TVG and HRTV on Verizon FiOS TV channels 315 and 316. I love having both.

Aren't all MAGNA tracks on HRTV with GG being one? Who consistently carries Woodbine though in this country?

i think we have every channel they offer, so i still have nfl network. i usually listen to the redskins on internet-they have a radio station link on their website, for those weeks when they aren't on t.v.

but yeah, i don't mind giving up a few games on tv for both racing channels.
