Jimmy Jerkens's horses are certainly running very well.
What would that give Unbridled's Heart then? Low 90's? Maybe he just got smacked by a horse that's better than people thought and will prove to be very good as well.

I'm confused by Mint Lane. I guess it's about 1.8 points a length so Unbridled's Heart ran 11 or 12 points slower.

It will be interesting to see how Mint Lane runs if he ever actually gets challenged for the early lead but he has to be better than I thought he was.

The fig doesn't matter that much. It was only his second career race and he lost a race where he did not get a good trip and the winner who is a good horse had a dream trip. Mint Lane created his own trip but he's much more experienced than Unbridled's Heart. I think Unbridled's Heart will improve off this race. The Dwyer looks like a good race to make is his start unless they decide to run in a non winners of 1. If he improves and runs a good race, he can run in the Jim Dandy and the Travers.

UH is a lightly raced horse. The possibility of upside exists. But we'll find out soon if he is for real or not.

I wouldn't worry about other peoples opinions if I was you. The great thing about a messageboard such as this is you can exchange opinions with people who have pretty good knowledge of horse racing. Difference of opinions brings out the best. Sometimes people get offended by the written word and an argument ensues. I have strong opinions but I try to keep an open mind to other points of view. A lot of times I'm wrong and I learn a few things and sometimes I'm right and learn new ideas.

this type of thinking may explain your lack of success at the windows. bet the best choice, not the one you like-and don't ignore those you don't like.

i always found that thought process kind of flawed anyway. how can you 'not like' a horse? you can think a horse is a bad bet, but it's nothing personal.

but then, you did say you look at cards searching for giant's causeways-so i think you've got a way to go before you should start throwing serious money at the tellers.

when i say dont like, i dont mean a dislike, not in the way your making it out to be, i dont dislike any horse... i guess i mean not nearly as much as everyone else on here, especially the ppl who were making him a top 3, 3yr old off of a maiden win
