They can't risk running him again. It's not like he finished 2nd by a length. Another performance like todays would be disasterous.

I think it is very unlikely that he will run again because that foot is going to probably take 6 months to heal. The year will be over by then.

He was never going to race again. Even Kent D hinted at it costing too much to insure. Dutrow said today after the race that Big Brown is going to have a good life. That is all I needed to hear. He was nothing special. Just your average top 3 year old.

no, he's far below average for a top 3 yo. saying he's the best this year isn't saying much. did anyone note the final time for todays' race?
