|   That is great news. I can honestly tell you that racing was dying a slow painful death in Louisiana before the casinos. We have QH's and a top level allowance race was running w/ a pure of 5k, and now they are between 20-25k. Heck even low level claimers are running for 20k. It has really saved racing here. It is now worth it, and you can make money running horses down here.

|   Its just a shame that the horse racing industry has to rely on the casinos to survive.  Maybe they should go take a look at how the casino patrons get taken care of, that might have something to do with why they are prospering. |
