The last few Sky Mesas sold so/so, in the mid 100,000's.........but I don't think they were his best pedigree wise. He's already done great overall, but I'm psyched about September.

I'm also very disappointed that the AP Indy/Macoumba filly was a buy-back. I can't believe with that pedigree that she didn't sell.........Oh well. There will be lots of people down the line regretting that they didn't buy this filly.......

LOL, actually no. That filly is worth at least that much and probably more just as a broodmare prospect. She'll be in good hands regardless; Malibu Moone was an extremely talented horse. If she's got anywhere near his ability, she'll be ok.

Didn't he only have two starts though? I mean seriously...

I'm sorry... I just get dumbfounded by these high prices. I'm in shock...

Thats what I'm talking about! The juice for the next Triple Crown winner is 'coming' out of this guy! How did his babies look? Only 12 months until they hit the track - cant wait

well, the high prices are always going to be there.

Yes, Moon only raced twice, but he was brilliant nonetheless. Also, the rest of the family is great as well. It's no big deal- I was disappointed she didn't sell, but in the end it means nothing.

Mineshaft filly goes for $1.45........yay! I was so nervous about this filly; I'm so glad she sold well. What a great showing for first crop sires Empire Maker, Mineshaft and Sky Mesa..........next year is going to be so much fun, following their offspring.

Can't wait until September when most of the Mineshaft yearlings will be sold.......

That Mineshaft sale seems more about the family as anything else . They haven't put fillies from that family on the market very often. I don't think that was the best individual in the sale.
