it was on a foreign course, i have never seen the notation before. yes i was serious.
heavy ?? i here what your saying, it sounds like a reading for damp turf., i thouhgt it meant hilly having never seen the notation before, knowing how some of the courses in europe go up inclines that can be steep. |

Paul thats exactly what it means. Heavy going refers to a very deep and soggy grass course.
