I can't have him at the current prices. I agree, he looked very good at Newmarket, but there is no way he should be around the 11/8 mark. For one, I'm not convinced Epsom will suit him, I think he would be much better on a flat, galloping track.
I won't be laying him, but I couldn't back him with stolen money at those prices. On a going day, both Papal Bull and Youmzain are Gr1 horses over this trip, and with plenty of pace likely, they are both likely to run well. Multidimensional have been somewhat disappointing this year, but this step up in trip might just be want he needs. He has been seemingly outpaced as they have quickened in his races this year, the same can be said in last years' champion stakes. He might find this trip right up his street. You could do a lot worse than backing him ew at huge prices.

you know i like Youmzain alot, but you just cant back him at 8 or 10s. The time to do it is when he is written off completely and is 66-1, like the Arc.. If the pace is strong, Id actually prefer Red Rocks to Youmzain tomorrow.

Hope Papal Bull does well for you tomorrow.
I have to root for Youmzain even though he's disappointed me in the past. Hard trying boy... Nad al, Baden Baden, Saint Cloud, they're always willing to send him off to fight the good fight and it's been a while now since he's had a win (2006 with Fallon up, I think). Hope tomorrow is his day or that he at least is 2nd. Come home safe, everyone. |

My sweetie Turbo Linn has chosen a tough spot. She relishes every inch of 12f, soft ground would help. But for a NH-bred bumper champion, she has done quite well with the 'real flat horses.'
