I like Boston to take the first two at home and then LA to take the next two in LA. Boston takes game five in LA and comes home to end it in six. I think that the Celtics are going to be too strong inside for them. They pounded the Lakers inside in the two regular season meetings and yes, I know that's the reg season and I know that the Lakers didn't have Gasol then......but they did have Bynum and Boston still pounded them inside. If they can get Odom or Gasol into any kind of foul trouble, it's going to make it hard on the Lakers because they don't have depth on the front-line. I don't think that the Lakers are as invicible as the 4-1 win over SA seems. SA was up by 20 in one loss and 17 in another and another loss came down to a final shot. Add in that the game they won, they won by nearly 20. They were out executed when it mattered but they weren't outplayed the way you would expect a 4-1 margin to indicate. I think Boston is going to show them some real defense here and yes, Kobe's going to get his but we will shut down the rest.

Pierce is going to win the MVP.

Got something right finally.

Lakers to win it, but you can't predict how. They should blow them out in 4 or 5, but they most likely will be lazy(take it in 6 or 7.) Kobe n' Phil lost in the finals the last chance they had. I don't expect them to lose another one. I wouldn't bet on it though, because an injury to Kobe would give it to Boston. Not exactly a class organization. So, I wouldn't be surprised if that option was taken. This is the same organization that turned their place into a sauna when the Lakers came there in the 80's. There is zero class involved there.

I questioned the class of the Celtic Organization. Maybe you were still sucking baby bottle when it took place, but they often did turn the Garden into a sauna in those Laker/ Celtic Championship games in the 80's. As far as specific players go, every team has problems with that.

I said the Lakers were totally reliant on Kobe(that's why I said I wouldn't bet the series.) He shot poorly the whole series. They weren't going anywhere with him missing open shots like he did all series. It was a very poor performance(much to the delight of all the low-level racists who are still outraged that he had rough sex with a very naughty white girl.) If your asking about the margin of victory, I think it's pretty simple math. Boston made about the same number of 2 point shots as they would normally make, but had an extra 30 points from the combination of free throws and three pointers. In other words, an extra 18 points from three pointers(than their average,) and they made an extra 12 free throws (than normal for them.) They shot very well. They deserved to win. It was a very hot shooting team(much like the years when the Spurs make everything they put up.) We will see how well they shoot next year. They played well defensively, but they were pretty much shooting out of their minds. The defense will remain. The shooting will come and go. It's obvious your attraction to the series had nothing to do with BOSTON, and everything to do with L.A. Your post has nothing in it about BOSTON. Your interest is not in BOSTON . ..."kobe"..."the lakers".... "l.a teams"...If Cali is so bad, then why is it the average house price is like 500k here versus 160k etc. in Pisscola?

thats about as good as you get from boston.......... lakers played like a deer cuaght in the headlights. boston had better win sunday or they are done.....kobe will NOT miss that many shot again and at staples center he goes to the line like 20 times a game........all and all it was horrible championship basketball.

Did David Stern give the Lakers game one by TKO overnight, otherwise I think you my want to consider that this year the Celts and Lakers have played 3 times and beaten LA each of the 3. How can you possibly say the Celts are done if they lose a single game....

Yeah the flesh missing from the chest of PP must have been an illusion....KB simply sucked last night under the pressure of decent team defense. Stop whining and bring a better game otherwise this will be a short final. The refs are the refs as long as San Antonio isn't playing it will even out..
