Kemp hit a home run and 2 doubles tonight. Kent homered. I think Ethier, too.Folks they need to face bad pitching, or else they just can't hit. That is the story. The talent only shows up against bad pitchers. It's not a coincidence that they just got their asses kicked by the Cards, Cubs, and Mets. Those are contenders, and they can't compete with contenders like that. They just can not hit against them. They aren't getting better at it, either. It's so obvious when they face a bad pitcher like tonight. It's like such a relief for them. So, yes, the farm club is producing a lot of well thought of players, but virtually none of them have the ability to hit quality major league pitching. They just can't do it. They have 8 runs tonight, and if a decent pitcher was against them, then it would only be 1 run. It's like the best Triple A minor league team ever put together.

If you saw Kemp's at bats against good pitchers you'd see he is their bitch. He has a decent average because he can hit bad pitchers. If any of thosehits were very impactful, then they wouldn't have loss all those close games on that road trip. I'd say Ethier and Martin are better hitters (as far as hitting against good pitching.) This is certainly not the sharpest thing in the drawer. So, I don't know if he will ever be able to hit good pitching. Swings at a lot of crap (flails away at it.)

I wonder how bad Penney will be tonite. E.R.A. just keeps getting bigger. On a Dodger Show, they showed his mom shooting a rifle. She said "That's how ya do it boys." He should claim "Red Neck Gal" for her in the 2nd race tomorrow...Wow, look at Mullins playing poker with Ann's Plan. Wasn't even that bad a race for 50k on the turf, and giving her away for 14k. Wow, the reason he ran her for 50 was because she looked so good for 20k tag. They should just stop interviewing that guy. Interviewing claiming trainers is about as fruitful as giving crack addicts money to buy food. He even takes Tyler off to fck with peoples heads a lil more.
