I have no problem with that, especially with issues like cancer.

I get very irritated though when guys like IEAH or Jayeff B Stable's Richard Santulli get involved with giving money to things that the government is responsible for. The government is responsible for taking care of a policeman's family. When wealthy guys do things for pr reasons it makes it look like this is not the responsibility of government.

I like Richard Santulli. What he did with the Intrepid Fallen Heroes rehab center for soldiers in TX was nice, but these guys do these things for pr reasons and they want to make it like it is not the government's job to take care of injured soldiers.

It is nice Santulli got to pat himself on the back for helping raise $40 million for a rehab center, and his buddy Don Imus patted himself on the back every chance he got, but what they actually do by raising this type of money is let the government off the hook. They are well aware of this too. They seem to want to send this message that government money shouldn't be used to build rehab centers. They know what they are doing hurts the troops in the long run and they don't seem to care if that conflicts with the pr they are looking for.

You got to be kiddin Me Quiet Chris you really think that someone is going to see that IEAH's guys donated money to the family of a serious injured officer they are going to think the Goverment is not taking care of them. Give me a friggin Break.

Thats what gets my goat with all the negative publicity that this great sport has been recieving (which I have been involved in for 25 years) Someone steps up to the plate and you immedietely determine that this is a PR stunt and they should keep there mouth shut if they went to donate their money.

it is a shame this story is not in more papers accross the country. this great sport of ours needs all the positive press we can get.

I don't give two sh1ts if they keep it quiet or not, the money is for a great cause regardless and is awesome in my book no matter what the circumstance. Maybe I'm a little bias seeing as how both of my bro-in-laws are police officers.
