Yes. He's by With Approval out of a Mr. Greely mare that earned over 100K.

I always play with approval horses first time on turf and I was rooting very hard at 17-1

No play for me in NC. The trainer felt like he needed one. I would have been upset to blow the chance for a nice score at 17-1. Looks like 2-1 next out.

by the way my guess is his beyer is around a 70

70 would be a decent first #. He ran an 89 BRIS #.
His older brother by Forest Wildcat won yesterday in an allowance at Philly paying $27. We sold this first foal from the mare now a 4yo that finally got to the grass.

If he got an 89 BRIS, he should get higher than a 70 Beyer. Just strictly based on working through my #'s, a 72 Beyer = 100 on my figures = 80 BRIS, so I'm guessing about an 83 Beyer.
