I don't know where you are watching them, but I would watch them from every angle I can (yes, seems obvious). I would also watch more than one replay. If you are looking at a specific horse, go back and watch many of his starts, take note if you are seeing something, a pattern, a characteristic, etc. I do this a lot -- betting, claiming, etc. (with claiming, I am putting up a lot more money on a race, LOL).

I watch replays several times, and sometimes it's neccessary. You easily miss things.
