I don't understand their aversion to young players. Never have. In 2005, the plan was to have Sizemore start the year in Buffalo and play Juan Gonzalez, 45 years past his prime. Grady ain't perfect by any means (throwing arm, K's but does many things well), but to think he wasn't a better MLB player at that point before the 2005 season than Juan gone was insanity. a Juan Gone injury bailed them out and Sizemore had a great year. Carmona targeted for Buffalo last year...bailed them out TWICE!! Cabrera bailed them out last year. They started winning last year when they finally went with Gutierrez as the fulltime RF late. Now Aaron Laffey is again proving himself as he did last year as well. I wonder what his fate will be when Westbrooks comes back. He is better than Paul Byrd however.
It's a mystery. It's not like young players have failed them.

I'd like to see it done like in football. Give each manager 1 review a game. So, there would be some penalty for being wrong when you question a call. Bring some strategy into it. 2 bad calls by same ump ( in one game) would result in him being put into a wood chipper.
