![]() Scuds, I can't think of anything I'd rather do. Take my bike and borrow a kayak, go out to some empty Northwest coast and spend the summer in a cabin doing nothing but reading, writing, hiking...(sigh)...I love the city, but part of me belongs to empty places, too.

try playing 10/20 NL then having your two pair broken by runner runner flush by a stupid azz who went all in trying to bluff. Result ended up being a 2,890 dollar pot |

![]() I feel the same way you do. I am 20 and live at home, and work about 25 hours a week along with going to school. I am fortunate enough that my parents don't make me pay rent or I would be in real trouble. I get paid every friday, and there has been a few weeks where I have lost my entire check the very next day at the track like an idiot and was forced to go without spending any money (cause i didn't have any) for an entire week til the next check. I was atleast smart enough to fill my gas tank up before I went to the track because in my head I knew I was probably gonna lose it all. So you ask if I knew I was gonna do it all why did I do it, because it is an Addiction and is hard to control. I am getting better and better and even if I don't bet, I am still very interested and love the sport of horse racing. Good luck with getting help with the addiction, and I can feel your pain.
