Actually, I think BTH is the tatood lady I saw at the county fair last year. I mean really, it's one thing to have an opinion and quite another to claim to know about "mysterious injuries". How do you expect anyone to believe anything you say?

As if that quote means anything. Kent D also said BB was the best horse he has ever been on. Now I am confused. Who do I believe?

BTW Beyers aren't the only speed figures out there. Some of the others indicate that BB is quite a bit faster than last year's group.

Curlin, sure, I can see that. Street Sense...I guess the case could be made, but it is shaky. Hard Spun? Big, big stretch seeing how he never really won anything of note. I refuse to even address Any Given Saturday.

Hard Spun never faced these kind of horses. If Hard Spun were a 3 year old this year, he'd win the Triple Crown more than likely.

Scott Blasi has stated on the Backside of Churchill Downs that he did not now if Curlin Could beat big Brown and was not for sure if he wanted to run Against him

You can say whatever you want. I can assure you Scott Blasi never said he wasn't sure if he wanted to run against him. If he said anything it would be we won't find out because Curlin is a tough horse that hung around and Big Brown will be retired before he faces Curlin. Thanks for playing though.

What exactly happened there? From the pan shot, the inference is that he's squeezed going into the turn. From the headon, it's hard to tell whether the horse to his outside comes in or it's because the horse ahead of him, in the 2 path, backs up a bit. Frankly, it appears as if he checked needlessly.

I was similarly confused and felt, generously, it was some combination thereof. What, in some ways, was worse was how Kent simply gave up and stuck the horse four or so wide and didn't even seem to try until it was too late.

I didn't bet her, and was sort of glad she lost as I had singled her in the Pick-4, pitched the 3:5 in the second, used four of the other five horses, and left the winner out.
