My God dude he was at almost a crawl when passed the finish line. Kent spent more than 1/2 race looking between his legs and under his arms. Never has a horse won with such ease in the Preakness. After the race he wasn't even breathing hard, throwing his head around kicking and sqealling like a 2 year old.

when you have a minimum 10 point beyer edge on your opponents, of course its going to look easy. this is a really nice horse but he hasn't had a real test yet, and may never get one.

......... yeah a blind man could see that but, its obvious the people that only talk speed figs are clueless and wouldnt know a great horse if it kicked them in the teeth.

This is much too obvious and is not really at the root of the issue. It figures that those that can only interpret the game in terms of figures, and thus have no intuitive grasp of it, would be clueless. They just learned the game the wrong way and haven't adjusted. That's fine.
But how about those that know how to properly use the figures and do have the intuitive grasp of the game? Shouldn't they, at least, be able to properly gauge the ability of this horse? Why is the focus, even from them, on the lack of competition, rather than the unique things this horse is able to do?

This is not meant to be critical and is more a result of disappointment than anything else.

.....its not that, its the flavor of the times to rip every horse thats " great " i have seen it here and at espn a few years ago.... watch, if for some miracle B.B won in elmont then the travers AND won the b cup. it wouldnt be because he is exceptional it would be " the field in the travers was a joke" and " curlin hated the santa anita surface "
