They seem to be lacking the form of this season, and as most of them have already run, that's quite a bit of form missed off.

The one thing in his favour is that O'Brien took him out of a G3 last week as he had worked so well the day before and decided to shoot for this race..

Where was it said he pulled him out of the Gr3 because he had worked so well? If that became public knowledge, Aidan could get into a lot of trouble (well, a lerge enough fine, at least). Personally, I just think he is the nearly horse, his strike rate is nothing more than terrible. I know he has run at the highest level, but with so many '2's next to his name, you have to wonder.
The Lockinge is another of these races that usually go by the stats. Some of these have never won at a mile, never mind won a Gr race at a mile, and that is usually needed in this race. Course form is also a bonus. Fillie have had quite a good record in this in recent years, and with all the other stats, I'm going for Majestic Roi at a big price, with the stable seemingly in top form now (started very slowly this year). Channon was very unlucky not to have saddled a classic winner, his horses are in very good heart now. I will having a decent e/w bet on her.

Is Rob Roy the same horse that ran in the 2006 BC mile?

Creach wins, PT 2nd and Tariq 3rd.
Anyone actually see the race? Full order of finish? Thanks. |
