![]() I, too hit the tri and exacta (missed on my win bet on Denis of Cork) and found the day pretty hollow. Money earned is nice, but what happened yesterday was pretty heart breaking. So, there is no shame in being upset about Eight Belles. As time goes on and Big Brown goes for the win in the Preakness and maybe the Belmont, naturally the spotlight will shift away from what happened to Eight Belles. As I said in another thread, Big Brown, more or less did what was expected of him. Eight Belles ran lights out and in my eyes, was the story of the race. It's really sad that triumph and tragedy were so closely juxtaposed to each other, because they naturally out shine the other. Hopefully, even as attention turns to Big Brown making his run at history (as it rightfully should), people won't forget about Eight Belles. I know I will not. Also good to see you aren't a cold bitch ![]()
