Nope,,,I'm *in* for the night. Just finished bringing horses in, and putting horses out. We're all good.

Largo,

I saw Les Savvy Fav on Friday at the Coachella Festival in Cali... One of the most f'd up, but fun performances I've ever seen.

It can be described like this-
"It's hot as ****... I need a hug"
"It's hot as piss... I need a kiss"
"It's hot in this place, I need to get to 2nd base"...

The significance? Words of their lead singer as he ventured out into the audience and started hugging, kissing, and feeling up on people during his set lol.

Too funny!! What little I've seen of them on You Tube, they strike me as a pretty big party band. Not to mention pretty drunk!!! Coachella must have been a good time. I used to go to a lot of concerts, but now I must be too old. I'd rather stay home, chill out, and play CD's.

Suzanne,

Coachella is the perfect one to get you back in the swing of things... It's more mellow (in the sense that's almost totally devoid of really hard rock or metal), and you get so many choices. 1 main stage, a 2nd stage, and 3 tents. The headliners this year were
Jack Johnson and Fatboy Slim on Fri
Prince and Portishead on Sat
Roger Waters on Sun.

But it's a really eclectic mix, and if you get there early enough to see the obscure acts, you're rarely disappointed. The festival is as much for discovery as it is for seeing who you wanna see.

But also, there is an overall mellow vibe to it... if that's what you want. But they also have DJS and more uptempo acts if that's what you want too. A lot of people stay in hotels or rent out condos for the weekend in the Palm Springs area, and just kinda meander to the festival later in the afternoon after lounging the day poolside... so the festival is what you wanna make of it... Next year is the 10th anniversary, so the rumors are to expect big things lineup-wise... we'll see. Seriously you should make it a weekend trip and get out there!
