heck..Scavs in literally 8 minutes from O'hare with SAturday traffic. I'm sure he would volunteer to be a DT taxi with his roomy SUV

if that, I go in the back way off Mannheim or whatever street that is. A great way of getting there that not many know about.....

If I have nothing going on that Saturday, I would be more then happy to pick up 3-4 people.....

As long as it isn't Midway and then galvanting to other places. I can get to Midway and back pretty easily, at least I think I can

That was my first time ever at Midway, now, I am all good. I was more interested in the protestors that were rocking it, then the environment

Hawthorne has protesters? What were they there for? Students united against inside speed biases?

I've heard all about Scavs' driving, I think it is well documented on several threads ;-)

Flight is booked and rental cars are pretty cheap in Chicago so I got a car for the day.

Thanks for all of the advice.

Now I just have to hope that everything goes as planned and she makes it to the race. Of course, I'd love the win, too.
