I think Ryan "Buck" Beattie is the nephew of Todd Beattie and Stephanie is the daughter of former trainer Clarence Minnich. Steph Beattie works together with high % trainer David Wells. Richard is Todd's assistant trainer and his brother

these are the trainers who are syphoning all of the purse $ out of charlestown and penn national, sometime with multiple entries in each race, they can pretty mush take any run of the mill $4000 claimer and turn them into a stakes horse, and commonly take horses who for example may run beyer #s in the 40s and start to run in the 90s, everyone else might as well go home!

Why would anyone possibly care what goes on at Penn National anyways? Especially at this time of the year with Belmont just about to open and the Triple Crown 9 days away from starting? That place is a toy track, and what else would you expect to happen from a toy track?

not everyone follows those great ny tracks like aqueduct and finger lakes....there are other tracks running this time of year, nine days away from the start of the tc, also probably nine days after, too.

Especially trainers that win at the clip that they do.
I can read the form. I know they have a high win percentage. What I'm wondering is where did they come from and why do they win at such a high clip.

It seems to me they are cheatin!! But that is like saying grass is green.

Penn National has just built a new casino and as such, is absolutely attracting a higher caliber of equine a la what PID did last year. Not every track is Saratoga. I know that was just a little trolling we saw earlier, but I figure I still need to stand up for Penn. At least they have a turf course there.

Is there anyone you think isn't cheating?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

From my perspective, Bay Meadows and No. Cal racing in particular is a cesspool of cheating trainers. These guys get away with daily thievary and the track does zero about it. I have no concern at all about it closing.
