But if you do this .... "i can sit back and keep my opinions to myself".. then the weasels successfully impede the free exchange of worthwhile racing discussion that used to be here each and every day but is now replaced with trash talking, trailer park two bit touts who will spend the rest of their lives contributing to the pools rather than winning them. Do your thing and let the misfits mouth off leaving no doubt of the cavernous voids of their racing knowledge.

always enjoy checking out your selections. you must put alot of time & effort into something that you don't have to share. i love seeing players show to others the skills that they have worked hard to learn over many years of trial & error. that is what makes this site so interesting to check out. keep firing. thanks.

When I want to get in on the action and don't have time to check the forms myself, I have been known to take Hooves selections for a given race and box them in tri's and exacta's, and it often times pays off.

Keep the selections coming.

I have nothing but respect for hooves and all others that regularly post their pics on this site. I suggest anyone who has a problem try it once or twice themselves, it's a lot of hard work. Right or wrong, you'll never get anything more than a big thank you from me.

to be honest Hooves, id love to meet you and see what you are doing in research that i am not bc you are def one of the better selectors on the board. I sent you an email hope you read it and take it to heart. I wish there was some way that dt'ers in the lville area could get together and, i know this sounds geeky, and have a study group like i use to in college just throwing ideas off of one another maybe over a few beers at a local watering hole.

That was every night at Byk's house two summers ago. It was pretty freaking great.

It seems like a bunch of clowns have come out of the woodwork the last couple weeks. I was away from the board Fri and Sat and came back Sunday and the main board was laughable with the nonsense posted.

Ignore the haters Hooves and just keep posting and if you care to share any of those PMs then go ahead and post them. I would love to see who these great cappers are that have nothing better to do then give you crap.

it is the Triple Crown flux, it usually ends once their is no possible triple crown winner, or about 2 more weeks after Belmont, then they go to the NFL forums

Default thanks for everything Hooves

thanks for everything hooves... I am very new to this game and over the last year or so have learned a lot from your opinions. The sport of horse racing is constantly trying to get new people involved and it's you, Steve and all the others involved in sights like this, which will only help bring people to the sport of horse racing. I know no one on this site, but visit it often. All of you that post picks, offer positive feedback and analysis will go along way to improve this dying sport....It's obvious that Hooves is very good and enjoys the sport, negitive comments towards him will only push people away. Especially, people like myself who arent as good and need to ask questions so at some point they can offer opinions that actually are worth something to others...... Oh ya, before anyone posts.... I will loose my skirt now also...

Have a great day and good luck.... Enjoy the bander...

It is ridiculous you have to say anything. You add so much to this board, and I view your picks everyday. I value them a great deal. I don't always agree with them, but that is not the point. Sharing perspectives on races is a smart thing to do...anyone who disagrees just doesnt get it.

I would like to know who are the people who said otherwise. I certianly don't want to participate in their discussions in the future. Can you share?

Always enjoy looking over your picks, hooves. You often get me thinking about horses I might not have given a second thought. Criticizing you for putting out your opinions is ridiculous.

Thanks, and keep it up.

Hooves, please keep your Keeneland picks coming. I particularly enjoy it when you include your reasons for your picks. Keeneland is such a unique track that it's a great help to have "eyes" on the ground.

I'd like to thank you for my hitting a Pick 3 at Keeneland on Saturday. There's no way I would have bet it if I didn't have your selections included in my print-outs that were taken to the track. (Only my own stupidity kept me from hitting the Premier Pick 4.)

Nobody but a fool expects perfection in handicapping a track. Thank you for your honest observations. (It's not like you hype one horse and bet another.) When people start paying you for your picks, then they might have the right to complain that you're not giving out cold trifectas and superfectas (even though, sometimes you do).
