Yeah Rhonda, I was very shocked almost everyone doing well at the time passed on Big Brown.
But as for me winning it, even though I'll have the 3 favorites in the SA Derby, I'm still an underdog because of Pletcher. Cowboy Cal appearently missed his workout yesterday...and isn't going to make the Blue Grass where I liked him a lot. The two Pletcher horses I took (Cowboy Cal and Check It Twice) both haven't shown up in a race that counts for points yet - and Pletcher and JRV are both rolling a goose egg still. With two wasted Pletcher horses, a wasted jock, and a wasted trainer ... the odds are against me for sure I'd think.

F@@@@@@ing Mott is also killing me. Throwing away 11 pts. in the Sham by not hitting the activation button didn't help either.
But this where it gets interesting. I think I have 6 or 7 running this week as most people do. You have to pick the right horses from here on.

Just noticed that I'm currently 45th overall just behind DrugS.....best I've ever done with the contest. One BIG race to go!

I dropped from 26th to 57th after Harlem Rocker won. I needed J Be K for Assmussen/Gomez. And slipped to 3rd in the league....argh

Congrats to DrugS and Byk on finishing 1st and 2nd. I don't feel ashamed for finishing 3rd behind these two greats.
