When I came down here to go to NC State in the 70's I was told " See that college down the road...we hate them, and see that other college down the road, we really hate them" So while in college our team went to #1 in the country and they were great. Mind you, it was the cheerleaders who took this honer, but being good friends with the coach came in mightly handy!

you were in school when the Pack won it all with DT, monte towel, tom burleson?

Missed it by two years and two years after I left..Jimmy V! As I said the only NCAA champs we had were the cheerleaders.

still a nice program, back then. the DT lead team was one of the great teams of all time. carolina was excellent back then and maryland was nice too. the days when the ACC was basketball.

and Wake Forest with Muggsy was a great too. Phil Ford from UNC was incredible dominating the four corners. Yea, it was fun to be a part of it. Great times for sure.
