Buddha? He was good, if short lived. He would have been the Derby favorite. Tapit is unopposed in this pseudo contest.

Budha outran a very game Medaglia D'oro. Unfortunately he suffered a career ending injury just days before the Ky Derby. He was legit...

i just think a good horse should have more than one good race to show why he's a good horse. the wood is buddhas one and only, isn't it?
but i do agree tapit was pretty bad!

yes it was his only stakes win after jumping up from a allw at Gp in which he ran a faster race on the same card as the Florida Derby.

He was 3 for 3, and his first two were monster wins in a MSW and an ALW race. He won both by open lengths and with big figures, a 96 and a 106 in the ALW.
