Nice to know Hystericalady won't have to disgrace her good name on a synthetic surface ever again.

A win is a win, but I'm not sure how much her good name is restored when it comes against a tiny gr3 field.

Not long ago she'd have come back in a money Allowance. Now, these fields come up so soft, it's pretty much the same thing to come back in a G 3 like she did. I thought she ran well. Hopefully the Apple Blossom comes up strong.

Pray tell, Bruce, who the " strong " fillies and mares are that may show up?

Hysterical Lady is a very nice horse.

I don't know what's up with Ginger Punch, but she's a very nice horse and the race seems logical for her.

Spring Waltz looked terrific yeaterday, pairing up 106's and is a great story after not running until the summer of her 4 yo year.

I don't know what the plans are for Lady Joanne or Lears Princess.

I think if 3 of those five run, it's a strong field. It's also the only G 1 long dirt race for older Fillies and Mares until Belmont in June so it's not far flung some of these are pointing there.

getting beat by Nashobas Key, a horse that seems to relish the synthetic, is no disgrace. She runs consistently pretty well in all of her races if you ask me. her return race wasn't so swift this year, but who knows what kind of surface they had at Santa Anita in early feb. the track was all over the map.
maybe she needed that race anyway.
