![]() Hilarious. Bet the 3 year olds I dismiss. Looks like Denis of Cork will be the triple crown winner.
I just threw up a little in my mouth. |

The result of the race might have shown synthetic track awareness - as there were some big flops in a Graded Stake run on California's only remaining natural dirt surface at a non bull-ring track. The pace setter ran like he was preping for the A.P. Smithwick at Saratoga - he jumped shadows in multiple occasions around the first turn. |

![]() It makes you wonder what some of the also rans in California on the synthetic surfaces could do if they raced on a real racetrack.

![]() I don't have TVG, so I guess I will have to wait for the press release..
What a crazy road so far this year for the roses...Be great to see a horse like this make it. |

![]() missed the race....did he win easy?
personally I hate the "feel good story horse" ....but since the owners kid is autistic, I guess I can forgive this one.

![]() he looked as good as some of the far more expensive and more heralded 3y/o's.

![]() good story, nice when the small guy can make a run.
just wondering if this will start a trend, naming horses for causes? if so might we see horses down the road called "Breast Cancer Awareness" or "Erectile Dysfunction", although I think the latter does not suffer any for awareness. |

![]() I dont think I have ever cheered harder for a horse I didnt have any action on...it is a great story. I dont think anyone could disagree, give the horse a shot at some more graded earnings, and if he qualifies....send him to the Derby. As long as he is healthy heading in, the connections may live a lifetime of regret if they dont do it. Besides, he wont hurt any future stud fees if it dont pan out, he comes from way humble beginnings. It could only be positive.

![]() if his name was joe schmo, this story would be so different. pull a few heart strings, bam. now he deserves a derby run, just because of the backstory?? forget the emotion for a minute, does this horse actually, truly belong, after one upset win?
