I haven't worked my way through the handicaps yet, but for the Championship races I really fancy Harchibald in the Champion, I think he's as good as ever and, whatever you think about the horse, he's a rock solid each-way bet.

I like Tamarinbleu in the Queen Mother as I think it's got the best form and could yet prove himself a top-class two-miler. Master Minded is the danger, whilst I'll take on Voy Por and Twist Magic.

I've tried to find a way to get Inglis Drever beaten and, whilst the form of the stable has to be a concern, it's very difficult. My Way should show up better than his odds may suggst and it's possible to make a case for The Market Man but the favourite should win.

Unless I go in on Exotic Dancer I won't have a bet in the Gold Cup, there's no need, but I think Kauto Star will win but Exotic is very much the value. There's no reason why he should be bigger than 6 or 7/1 in my mind.

My non-handicap banker is Our Vic in the Ryanair and I'll be having cash on Lodge Lane in the Spa Hurdle.
