I'm fine with Kobe winning MVP. He is certainly not undeserving in any way. He plays a rougher schedule than LeBron which has to be factored into the equation as well. That being said however, the Cavs do have road wins in San Antonio, Dallas and LA this year.
They beat SA both regular season games
last year. I like the Cavs. I like Lebron.
I have to with all the San Antonio connections
on the coaching staff. Those are very decent fellows.
I really wish the Spurs had the curly head man for defense
and energy.

Kobe is the MVP though.
I just dont see how it cant be.
I will even wager Mr. Cannon.

Without the Gasol trade, Kobe is not even in the top 5. That is why awards voted on by writers are a joke. Kobe had a better year last year yet all of a sudden he is the MVP? He is not even the MVP of the West. That would be Chris Paul.

The Lakers had a better record than Cleveland without Gasol playing in the WEST. You cant be serious.
Who is watching too much ESPN...?

Chris Paul.

I actually could go with that.
But in the playoffs he finds a diff. world
which is why the Hornets go down 2nd round.

You cant choose MVP on what might happen in the playoffs. The Lakers also have better players at every position except one and are far superior in head coaching dont ya think?

I'm absolutely convinced that Pgardn and Stevie Wonder have watched the same number of basketball games.

Just as I am convinced that you dont watch any
but look up a lot of numbers. Be careful with that
with the horses.

You are a stat sports fan.
That is not smart at all in basketball.
It may be fun in baseball. You gotta
watch the games in basketball.

For example.
All these stupid lists have the Spurs
on top in the west. Truth. They have played
poorly. Record looks much better because
they are playing weak teams.

Houston is playing better defensive basketball
without Yao.

Detroit is much more than a 5 man team now and
is a better team than when they won the Championship.

I dont exactly know how LA is going to work Bynum in
with Gasol and Odom. I doubt they can defend with all
3 on the floor at the same time. I think Phil might move
one of the two to the second unit with Walton and Farmar.
A better D-unit than the first.

I could continue all night but Gauss calls me.

Your observations stat man...

This takes the cake. They have played poorly but have the best record in the West. They play in the toughest division in the league BY FAR but have been playing weak teams. Do you realize what you are saying here? There are seven teams in the league with a higher winning % than .650 and three of them are in their division and a fourth is at .639. How are they playing weak teams? And they've done that with Tony Parker missing 13 games. Yeah, they are weak. They've played 35 games against the West. The Lakers have played 34. How are the Spurs playing weak teams?

Of course you cant.

But because it is not regular season,
one gets a better idea of how good a
player really is under pressure. 82 regular games
is way too many to take seriously.

No I think West is much better than Odom as a forward.

West plays for NO and plays a different position than Odom anyway. And he is in no way MUCH better than Odom.

You asked who else with Paul did you not?
And he does not play a diff position, he plays a diff type of game.
And hell YES, I take him anyday over Odom.
You actually think Odom is a better player?
