Took a tough loss on my "real" ticket, as Elixer just couldn't hold on. Oh well, that's racing and I can live with it.
My beef however, is the gate scratch of It's A Whopper in the 4th, one of two that I used. (Is it me or are there more gate scratches in NY than anywhere else?) So now I'm stuck with half of my 320.00 ticket on the post time fav. Ferdi's Prince. Why can't there be a refund on scratches in the first race of any multi-race bet. I can understand getting the post time favorite in later races. If I wanted to bet Ferdi's Prince I would have- hell if they want my money that bad, double up on my other pic.(at least he won) That's all, I'm done.
