I have a co-worker that hates unions (of which I am a member) and he votes dem. I was like.. "but dems support unions" and he just laughed. Then NAFTA passed and he was tickled to death to see all the factories closing.

Dems forget it was a dem majority in congress and a dem president that sold us out on NAFTA.

No,it's not the center(if it was,then you wouldn't have this guy as your Republican Presidential Candidate.)Even if you think Republicans voted for him because they were scared of losing with a Conservative.They still were doing that as a result of their views being right of the country's center.The country's center is somewhere between Lieberman and McCain.The more he gets like Lieberman,the more chance he has.Conservatives will vote against Hillary,or Obama(if it's a close state.)McCain should ignore them.Do what he did last week to the Cincy ass-hole.

ok, I'll go along with that. I wouldn't want anyone to confuse him with any limited gubment, liberty minded conservatives.

I know that everyone says we have to dumb it down so the idiot swing voters will go along.

not too many people may know this but it appears that Obama has the same criminal connections that the gov. of il Rod Blogo has. I doubt it would happen but he may have to appear in court.

of the last 4 governors - only former gov. Jim Edgar has managed to stay out of jail.

There's a trial that started Monday of a guy named Tony Rezco..google him for the best background, but he's a Syrian ( I think) gazillionaire who is accused of ( and probably guilty of) major influence peddling. There have been piles of papers filed by the Feds against him and there is a "Figure A" who is mentioned pre-dominantly throughout.
